A week ago i attended a CLT conference at the American University in cairo. For me, this was the first time i ever engage in such activity and despite that it was something i needed to do for a course yet i found it quite interesting and beneficial.
The CLT meeting i attended was focusing on improving the relationship between courses, professors and students, in order to do so, we were seated down in tables which included a combination of professors, graduate students and current university students. The diversity is what made the conversation interesting actually. we got to discuss grading systems and professors attitudes towards grading and managing the course syllabus. What i found to be the most interesting thing was the fact that most professors were open to changing their systems in order to please and make life easier for their students.
